Questions
Does Insidemetics add people to my Telegram group?
No. Members receive your invite link by email after paying. To remove someone whose membership ended, you remove them yourself; their status shows on the product's Members page. A Telegram invite link that needs admin approval stops it being shared freely.
How is this different from Telegram Stars subscriptions?
Telegram's own paid subscriptions are paid in Stars inside the app. With Insidemetics, subscribers pay real money by PayPal, card or UPI into your own account, and you get their email so you can reach them outside Telegram.
Which plan do paid communities need?
Memberships and paid communities are part of the Business plan. A one-time paid pass sold as a digital product with your invite as the delivery link works on any plan.
Does Insidemetics take a commission on my sales?
No. Insidemetics charges a flat monthly or yearly plan and takes 0% of your sales. Buyers pay into your own PayPal account, or your Razorpay account for buyers in India, and PayPal or Razorpay charges its own processing fee.
How do buyers pay?
Buyers around the world pay with PayPal or a card through your PayPal account. Buyers in India can pay by UPI, card or netbanking in rupees through your Razorpay account. Access or the download link is sent by email only after the payment is confirmed to our server.
How do I connect payments?
On the Payments page, connect your PayPal business account by pasting the Client ID and Secret of an app you create at developer.paypal.com. To take UPI from buyers in India, also click Connect with Razorpay, log in and click Allow. You can disconnect either one any time.
Can I try it for free?
Yes. The Free plan lets you sell 1 paid product and give away unlimited free downloads, with no card and no time limit. Pro and Business start with a 7-day free trial when you want more.
