AI Auto DM: Turn "Price?" Comments Into Customers
How Auto DM's AI catches comments like "price?" or "link bhejo" that don't use your keyword, and writes your keyword and DM for you.

Auto DM sends your product link to everyone who comments a keyword, like GUIDE, on your post or reel. But many people don't type the keyword. They write "price?", "how do I get this", "link bhejo" or "कितने का है". AI matching catches those comments too, so fewer interested people slip away.
Turn on AI matching
- Open Auto DM in your dashboard and create an automation, or click one you already have.
- Pick the post or reel and type your keywords as usual.
- Tick Also catch people who ask in their own words (marked AI).
- Choose the product or link to send, and save.
Automations with AI on show an AI badge on the Auto DM page, and each one shows a Caught by AI count: how many people got the DM because AI understood them.
How it decides
- Your keywords are checked first. A keyword match is instant and doesn't use AI.
- Only a comment that matches no keyword is read by AI, which answers one question: is this person asking for the product?
- Comments that are only emoji, a single letter, contain a link, or run past 300 characters are never sent to AI.
- People who already got that DM aren't sent it again.
- If AI is slow or unavailable, Auto DM simply goes back to keywords only.
Let AI write the automation
- In the automation form, under What to send, choose A product from my store and pick the product.
- Click ✨ Write the keyword and message for me.
- AI fills in the keyword, the DM message, the button text and the public replies, from your product's title and description.
- Read it, change anything you like, and save.
The AI is told never to invent discounts, prices, deadlines, results or reviews. You always review the text before anything is sent.
Limits
- AI matching: Pro and Business. On Free you'll see the option, locked.
- Up to 1,000 AI checks per store a day.
- The writer: up to 30 drafts an hour, on every plan.
- Auto DM itself needs Meta's approval. If your dashboard says Coming soon, it opens the day Meta approves it, and we'll email you.
Frequently asked questions
Does AI matching cost extra?
No. It's included in Pro and Business. DMs stay unlimited on every plan.
Which languages does it understand?
Any language your followers comment in, including Hinglish, Hindi and other Indian languages.
Why don't I see the AI option?
It's hidden when Reply to every comment is ticked, since every comment already gets the DM. It's also hidden for a while if the AI service is unavailable.
Will AI reply to spam?
Comments with links, emoji-only comments and very long comments are never sent to AI, and each person gets a DM only once per automation.
Can I see which comments AI caught?
Each automation shows a Caught by AI count on the Auto DM page.
