What the Insidemetics Free plan includes, how to sign up, what changes when a trial ends, and when Pro or Business is worth it.

- Unlimited free downloads. They don't count towards the limit, so you can grow your email list from day one.
- Checkout into your own PayPal account, and UPI, card and netbanking for buyers in India through your own Razorpay account.
- Unlimited Instagram Auto DMs, with 1 automation switched on at a time.
- 0% platform fee on every sale. PayPal or Razorpay only charges its own processing fee.

Pro also adds discount codes, sales analytics, customer management and refunds, store colours and a cover image, order bumps and more. Business adds online courses, memberships and paid communities. The pricing page always has the full, current list.
How to start on Free
- Go to insidemetics.com and click Start free.
- Leave Free selected at the top of the form. (Or pick Pro or Business to try it free for 7 days.)
- Type your full name and email, choose your country, and pick a password.
- Tick the box to agree to the terms, then click Create my free store.
- Confirm your email, pick your store link and your display name.
- Add your first product from the dashboard.
When your trial ends
If you picked a 7-day trial of Pro or Business and don't choose a plan by the end, your store moves to Free. It stays online. Your first live paid product keeps taking orders, and free downloads keep working. Other paid products stay on your store, but buyers can't check out until you unpublish the extras or pick a plan again. Nothing is charged unless you choose a plan in Plan & billing.
Section headings are plain text
On every plan, the headings you add with Add section (like "Free resources" or "Coaching") are text only. They can't hold links, web addresses, emails or @handles, so nobody can use a heading to send visitors somewhere unexpected. To send people to another page, click Add product and choose Link: buyers then see a card that clearly shows where it goes. Headings saved before this rule have any links taken out automatically.
When to move to Pro or Business
- You want to sell a second paid product.
- You want discount codes, order bumps or sales analytics.
- You run more than one Auto DM automation at once, or want followers-only links and email capture in DMs.
- You want to sell a course or a membership (Business).
Frequently asked questions
Is the Free plan really free forever?
Yes. There's no time limit and no card on file. You only pay if you choose Pro or Business in Plan & billing.
Do free downloads count towards my 1 paid product?
No. Free downloads and ₹0 items never count, so you can publish as many as you like.
Can I take payments on Free?
Yes. Connect PayPal or Razorpay in Dashboard → Payments and your one paid product takes orders straight into your own account.
I tried to publish a second paid product and got a message. Why?
Free allows 1 live paid product. Unpublish the other one first, or upgrade in Plan & billing.
Why won't my section heading save?
Headings can't contain links, web addresses, emails or @handles. Remove it, then use Add product → Link to point people to that page.
Can I change my plan later?
Yes, any time in Plan & billing. Moving back to Free keeps your store online with your first paid product selling.
