How many sales do you need to hit your goal?how many sales
Start from the income you want each month. The calculator works backwards to the sales and visitors you need, using your own numbers — not made-up averages.
To take home ₹50,000 a month
66 sales
at ₹799, which means about 3,300 store visitors a month at a 2% conversion rate.
- You keep per sale (after 2% + GST gateway fee)
- ₹780.14
- Plus platform cost to cover
- ₹999
With your current traffic
3,000 visitors × 2% ≈ 60 sales, or about ₹45,809.62 take-home a month.
To close the gap: raise the price, add an order bump, increase visitors, or improve conversion. At ₹871 per product, your current sales would reach the goal.
Estimates only, based on the numbers you enter. GST on your own sales and income tax are not included.
How it works
- Take-home per sale = price − 2% gateway fee − 18% GST on that fee.
- Sales needed = (income goal + platform cost) ÷ take-home per sale.
- Visitors needed = sales needed ÷ your conversion rate.
- Projected income = your visitors × conversion rate × take-home per sale − platform cost.

Questions
What conversion rate should I use?
Use your own: sales divided by store visitors in your analytics. Conversion varies widely with price, audience trust and how warm your traffic is, so model a low, middle and high case before you have data.
How can I need fewer sales?
Raise the price as reviews come in, add an order bump at checkout, offer an upsell after purchase, or bundle related products. Each raises how much you earn per visitor.
